Donelle Walters, Food & Beverage Director
With an extensive background in hospitality, Donelle joined the Thornberry team in May of 2000 from the Midway Hotel, where she was the Food and Beverage Director for over 15 years. She's a certified Food and Beverage Executive courtesy of the American Hotel & Lodging Education Institute, and was awarded "Manager of the Year" by the Midway Hospitality Group for her leadership across the 5 states included in the nomination process. Donelle's presence and understanding of anticipatory guest service is what sets her apart from the competition. Just ask the hundreds of Brides and their families she's had the pleasure of serving. They'll all agree that Donelle is best-in-class with her communication and incredible execution of events large and small.
Donelle loves reading, horseback riding, spending time with friends, and experiencing anything new! Growing up on a dairy farm, Donelle's work ethic was developed at an early age, and she can still "farm" with the best of them. Donelle's favorite aspect of working at Thornberry is "Creating lasting friendships with so many of my clients, and even having some become a part of my family."
